This means that the old town and the main railway station can be reached directly in 2-3 minutes. If you take the public transport (bus stop practically in front of the house) for about 5 minutes to the bus stop "Marktplatz", there are many possibilities for a shopping tour, a visit to museums or theatres and much more. By bus in the other direction, you can reach the open-air swimming pool and the ice rink with curling hall in about 5 minutes, as well as the football and shopping arena with IKEA and Media Markt and the leisure centre "Säntispark" with fitness, wellness, sauna, bowling, billiards, etc. in another 7 minutes.
